A well-established steel manufacturing company based in Mall Road, Lahore, is seeking an experienced Manager for Accounts & Finance to join their head office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and providing senior management with insightful financial analysis. This role requires a proactive individual with strong expertise in cost management, tax compliance, and ERP system controls, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all financial operations, including preparation and review of financial statements and implementation of effective process controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely costing, pricing, and variable cost analysis to support informed business decisions.
- Oversee ERP system controls and maintain efficient accounting workflows to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Conduct audits related to material purchases and procurement processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Handle all tax compliance matters, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax obligations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide senior management with detailed financial reports and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Professional qualification as ACCA or ACMA, either fully qualified or at finalist level.
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the steel manufacturing industry or a similar manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, ERP systems, and audit procedures.
- Proven expertise in cost analysis and financial supervision within a manufacturing context.
This is a full-time position based at the company’s head office, requiring in-person attendance. The monthly salary offered ranges from Rs150,000 to Rs160,000. Candidates will be requested to provide details of their current and expected salary during the application process.
