Job Summary:

The Manager Corporate Communications will oversee all communications involving the organizations, including the development and implementation of a communication strategy and a broad and diverse range of business and marketing communications.

Duties/Responsibilities

  •  Collaborate with executive leadership and board of directors to develop a communication strategy based on the corporate mission statement.
  •  Develop and implement a communications strategy for the organization that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand and perception.
  •    Oversees corporate communications and branding in various online and print platforms, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and industry magazines.
  •   Propose, plan, execute and oversee the publishing and distribution of customized periodic newsletters/magazines/publications for different target audience such as the community, parents, students and staff.
  •  Propose, plan, execute and oversee the publishing and distribution of introductory documents such as Student handbooks, Prospectus, brochures etc.
  •  Oversees the development and maintenance of the corporate website, including methods to deliver appropriate messages, ease of navigation, and clarity of information; ensure that all content is current and relevant.
  •   Provide consistent and timely information to management and/or employees through various communications programs.
  • Act as corporate spokesperson to interact with and respond to external environment as needed.
  •  Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with the external environment.
  •   Assist executive leadership in developing presentations, speeches, and other corporate messages.
  •  Provide suggestions concerning graphics, clarity, distribution and press releases to management as and when required.
  •     Develop, implement and adhere to communications budget.
  •  Develop, compose, distribute and implement polices to enhance the  efficiency of the communications initiative and to further  develop the building and maintaining of a positive corporate brand.
  •  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
  •  Organized with attention to detail.
  • Superior ability to write in a journalistic style that is customary for corporate and external publications.
  •  Ability to offer sound media relations advice to senior leadership.
  • Excellent managerial and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  •  Ability to work with corporate management, employees, media and the larger community.
  •  Ability to coordinate efforts of various teams in order to present a coherent message.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Multiple years of experience in public relations, including comprehensive marketing experience required.
