We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical Manager, Digital Products to lead the development and management of innovative digital solutions that align with our overall digital strategy. This role emphasizes modernizing technology development by adopting a startup mindset and scaling products to reach millions of users. The successful candidate will oversee product development in areas such as Digital Telco, Selfcare and Lifestyle, and Instant Messaging, while staying abreast of the latest trends in social media, content, and communication. Reporting directly to the VP of Digital Products & Solutions, this position plays a critical role in driving the company’s digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technology planning, resource allocation, and long-term forecasting to ensure strategic alignment and optimal use of resources. Manage technical cost allocation, budget planning, and business case approvals to maximize efficiency. Ensure timely project delivery by collaborating closely with support functions and cross-functional teams. Oversee the entire lifecycle of mobile applications, from ideation and design through development, rollout, enhancements, and continuous optimization.
Select and implement appropriate technical architectures and solutions, including APIs, payment gateways, authentication systems, messaging platforms, analytics, and integrations with DBSS and third-party systems. Collaborate with business, finance, procurement, and regulatory teams to align product priorities and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Lead both outsourced and in-house engineering teams specializing in Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) development to support the product roadmap.
Ensure adherence to security standards, regulatory requirements, and modern software development practices such as APIs, microservices, and DevOps methodologies. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical deliverables. Implement reporting and analytics systems to enable internal teams to track and manage data effectively.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on experience in technology and engineering management. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related fields is required. Proven experience collaborating with financial teams, managing procurement processes, and handling PR & PO cycles. Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and development teams for large-scale digital products, including Mobile, Web, Cloud Native stacks, API integrations, and Agile deployments.
Experience leading software engineers or technical product managers, with expertise in cost assessment and budget/resource allocation. Strong knowledge of frontend and backend technologies, with working familiarity of backend stacks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, and PHP. Understanding of mobile application development challenges related to performance, scalability, security, and OS differences. Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of communication stacks and protocols including XMPP, RTP, SIP, and HLS. Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Firebase, MixPanel, and Google Analytics. Expertise in APIs and web services integrations (SOAP/REST). Knowledge of IP and network concepts is considered a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills across both technical and non-technical teams.
