The Manager Pre-Sales IoT position, based in Lahore or Islamabad, plays a vital role in advancing IoT/M2M solution engagement within the South Region. This role supports the enterprise sales team by offering expert pre-sales consultancy, designing customized solutions, and preparing persuasive proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IoT/M2M technologies, excel in customer interactions, and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to deliver solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Solution Design:
Act as the technical lead during customer engagements for IoT/M2M solutions in the South Region. Understand and analyze customer business needs to develop tailored technical solutions. Participate actively in joint sales calls, discovery sessions, and client workshops alongside the enterprise sales team. Design end-to-end IoT/M2M solutions covering connectivity, hardware, platform integration, and associated services.

Proposal & Documentation:
Develop and present technical proposals, solution blueprints, and presentations. Provide technical expertise and architectural guidance for RFP/RFQ responses. Collaborate with product and commercial teams to create Bills of Quantities (BoQs), detailed solution descriptions, and pricing structures.

Channel Enablement & Training:
Deliver regular enablement sessions for Jazz Enterprise sales channels and regional partners to deepen their knowledge of IoT/M2M products and solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert for the South region by supporting internal teams and channel partners through training, solution demonstrations, and sales toolkit rollouts. Provide feedback to central teams on channel challenges, market gaps, and opportunities to enhance pre-sales effectiveness.

Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with product, pricing, platform, bids management, and delivery teams to validate and refine solutions. Stay current with Jazz’s IoT/M2M portfolio, including M2M connectivity, POS, fleet management, asset tracking, smart metering, and NB-IoT technologies.

Customer Enablement:
Support customers during Proof of Concept (PoC) implementations and solution testing. Facilitate post-sales technical handover to delivery teams and educate customers on solution usage, platform access, and performance monitoring.

Market & Partner Engagement:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with local hardware and IoT partners/vendors. Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Identify opportunities for ecosystem integration to develop bundled solutions.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, technical consultancy, or solution design within Telecom, IT, or IoT sectors. A solid understanding of cellular M2M technologies (2G/3G/4G/NB-IoT), IP networking, SIM management, and device integration is essential. Practical experience with IoT use cases such as asset tracking, smart devices, smart utilities, and remote monitoring is highly desirable. Experience working with enterprise clients and B2B sales teams is necessary. Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and client-facing skills are critical.
