This role is responsible for managing DICT and Solutions revenue within a designated region, acting as the primary headquarters contact for all pre-sales and project management activities related to solutions. The position ensures that opportunities are thoroughly qualified, proposals are comprehensive and margin-protected, and that project handovers are seamless. It involves close collaboration with regional teams to deliver projects on schedule, from initial technical discovery through to customer acceptance and billing initiation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage DICT and Solutions revenue for the assigned region, serving as the single HQ point of contact for all pre-sales and project management matters.
- Lead technical discovery processes by drafting solution architecture, Bills of Quantity (BoQ), network diagrams, and customer-ready Statements of Work (SoW) in collaboration with regional solution teams.
- Coordinate and lead responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring timely, compliant, and margin-safe bid submissions.
- Oversee tendering activities, including proposal packaging, clarifications, compliance matrices, and document management, securing all necessary approvals.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to coordinate pricing inputs, ensuring discounts, prices, and special terms comply with approval policies before submission.
- Work with HQ Solution Architecture and Design teams on complex solution architectures, BoQ/BoM, and SoW development.
- Verify that executed contracts accurately reflect agreed scope, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), acceptance criteria, milestones, and billing triggers.
- Prepare comprehensive handover documentation, including design packs, acceptance tests, project plans, and partner roles, confirming readiness with Network Operations and Engineering teams.
- Lead or ensure project kick-offs occur according to established playbooks; monitor project milestones, risks, and changes, escalating issues promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with Account Managers and customers through concise status updates, securing customer acceptance and documentation required to initiate billing.
- Develop and maintain a reusable solutions library containing reference designs, proposal templates, SoWs, and checklists, promoting its adoption across regions.
- Capture and analyze win/loss data and price-to-win insights, providing feedback to Architecture and Product teams and updating internal playbooks accordingly.
- Coach regional pre-sales and project managers on proposal quality, scope management, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing solutions pre-sales and project delivery within a regional or multi-regional context.
- Strong technical expertise in solution architecture, including drafting BoQ/BoM, network diagrams, and Statements of Work.
- Demonstrated ability to lead RFP/RFI processes and tendering activities, ensuring compliance and margin protection.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to track milestones, manage risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to maintain alignment between HQ, regional teams, Account Managers, and customers.
- Experience working with legal, finance, credit/contracts, and product teams to ensure comprehensive bid and contract management.
- Ability to develop reusable solution assets and drive their adoption within the organization.
- Proven coaching and mentoring skills for pre-sales and project management teams.
