Key Responsibilities

Execute manual testing for mobile applications (Android and iOS).
Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans.
Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software testing life cycle.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Ensure quality standards are met before app releases.
Participate in review meetings and provide clear, detailed bug reports.

Requirements

Technical skills:

Deep understanding of the software testing life-cycle (STLC) and bug life-cycle.
Familiar with common testing types, such as functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, etc.
Proficient in using at least one defect management tool.
Understand the basic features and differences between Android and iOS platforms.

Language requirements:

Personal qualities:

Attention to details and rigorous logical thinking.
Excellent communication skills to describe problems clearly.
Initiative and sense of responsibility, able to work independently complete tasks.
Possess good teamwork spirit.

Bonus points:

Understand automated testing and have experience with any automated testing tool (such as Appium, Selenium).
Understand basic API testing (using tools such as Mail carrier).
Experience with performance testing tools (such as JMeter) or security testing concepts.
Familiar with agile development process (Scrum).
Experience working in multinational teams or on technical outsourcing projects.
