We are looking for a data analyst that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. As an individual, you will be self-motivated working autonomously to build parts of the dashboard that will drive product teams to succeed. You will drill down into areas that require deep understanding from an analytics point with the view of uncovering things that help our product serve students learn better.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact to provide concrete data-driven insights to the team
- Deep dive into data for problem-solving and bring out your creativity for modern day challenges
- Learning and fully understanding the data landscape in databases and application
- Using and developing data collection processes and manage them
- Develop deep understanding and familiarity of our data tech stack
- Create compelling presentations and dashboards which tell a story by leveraging our data, engineering best practices and various reporting tools at Maqsad
Qualifications and Experience
- Education background in computer science, engineering or technical (science) programs. Business background with technical exposure would also work.
- 2+ years of experience building dashboards and analyzing data.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relevant tools.
- Experience using Tableau, Superset or Mixpanel.
- Experience using reporting tools like Looker, PowerBI or others.
- Ability to perform numerical analysis and uncover underlying causality relationships.
- Optionally program in Python/R.
