We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work remotely as Part Time. You will create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.
Main Responsibilities:
o To confer with Business Application Users in identifying and gathering users’ requirements and develop logical and physical specifications.
o Analyze and document the business users’ requirements.
o Design software solutions, strategies and communicate them to the management.
o Develop Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) document and Functional Specifications Document (FSD).
o To create detailed functional requirements and development artifacts such as workflow diagrams, business rules, data mapping spreadsheets, and/or wireframes.
o Be an interface between technology teams, service/support teams, and business units.
o Continue to provide support to project at all stages with the objective of maintaining continuity of all information and quality of final solution.
o Provide support to business partners on processes and application functionality.
o Coordinate with developers and QA team to explain system requirements.
o Develop UML diagrams such as Use Case, Activity and Sequence Diagrams.
o Get the requirements reviewed and approved by the business users.
o Change management, end user training, UAT for smooth business process transition.
o Ensure continuous IT services delivery to support day to day business operations.
o Ensure continuous business process improvement through capturing and analyzing business data.
o Write and execute test cases for new applications.
Required Skills:
o Detail oriented, with solid analytic and research skills.
o Strong professional communication (written and verbal).
o Experience managing competing priorities and deadlines.
o Familiar with SDLC methodologies.
o Experience creating process artifacts, such as (but not limited to): business cases, process maps, use cases, user stories, requirements documents, test plans, and quality matrices.
o Candidates must be able to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
o Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project Management or related field.
Planning & Organization:
o Develop workable action plans
o Effectively puts plans into actions
o Provide help to Product Owner/Management in Quarter/Sprint Target Setting
Productivity & Timelines:
o Set realistic timetables to keep Sprint/Qtr tasks on target
o Make effective use of all available resources when given a job
Documentation:
o Plan and implement SOP's for documentation
o Make documentation core part of each sprint for both future and legacy
