We are looking for a highly skilled and results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead our go-to-market strategy. This role requires a unique combination of expertise in traditional gaming, a deep understanding of the Web3/blockchain ecosystem, and a proven track record in building strong online communities through narrative-driven campaigns. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for shaping our public voice by translating complex game features and decentralized concepts into engaging and accessible stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive narrative marketing strategy that effectively communicates the game’s unique value proposition, lore, and ethos to diverse audiences, including Web2 gamers, Web3 natives, and collectors.
- Manage the content calendar and oversee content creation across key channels such as blogs, newsletters, social media, and press releases, ensuring a consistent voice aligned with the game’s evolving story and development milestones.
- Collaborate closely with design and development teams to identify pivotal story moments and features, transforming them into compelling marketing hooks.
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns—including paid, earned, and owned media—covering pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
- Lead Web3-specific marketing initiatives such as NFT drops, token launches, marketplace promotions, and partnership announcements within the decentralized ecosystem.
- Create clear documentation and educational content to simplify the benefits and mechanics of Web3 features for mainstream gaming audiences.
- Analyze key marketing metrics including customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on investment (ROI), community growth, and wallet activity to optimize campaigns and inform future strategies.
- Oversee official community channels (Discord, Telegram, X, Reddit), ensuring they remain active, safe, and foster long-term engagement with players and token holders.
- Develop and manage ambassador, moderator, and key opinion leader (KOL/KOC) programs to expand reach and support decentralized growth.
- Monitor community sentiment and feedback, serving as a crucial liaison between the player base and the development team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive marketing experience in games across PC, console, or mobile platforms.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the Web3, crypto, or NFT space, with a strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals such as wallets, smart contracts, and decentralized governance.
- Proven success in creating and executing narrative-driven marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and build player loyalty.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, market-ready messaging.
- Demonstrated experience managing and scaling large online communities, including Discord servers with thousands of members.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics platforms and Web3 data tools such as Dune Analytics, Nansen, and Google Analytics.
- A genuine passion for video games and the evolving landscape of player-owned digital assets.
