Marketing Research Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing and Market Research Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and generating leads, conducting thorough market research on Amazon and other global marketplaces, and sourcing high-quality products through platforms like Alibaba. This position demands strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads for potential customers across relevant markets and platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive market research on Amazon and other international marketplaces to analyze trends, pricing, competitor activities, and product opportunities.
- Source high-quality products for various projects via Alibaba and other global sourcing platforms.
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate basic terms, and assess product feasibility.
- Maintain organized files, sourcing sheets, and project documentation.
- Utilize advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills for data management and reporting.
- Support the team with various UK-based tasks as assigned by the manager.
- Ensure timely follow-up, accurate execution, and effective coordination with stakeholders.
- Verify that sourced products meet quality standards and comply with international regulations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in market research, sourcing, or a similar role.
- Strong research and analytical skills with familiarity in online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Wayfair.
- Good communication and negotiation skills for supplier interactions.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

Additional Information
This is a full-time, in-person role based at our office in Gulberg III, Lahore. Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The monthly salary range for this position is Rs45,000 to Rs50,000.
