- Develop and implement Accounting and Finance manuals to ensure compliance.
- Develop organization’s financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; to establish functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital and facilities; identifying monetary resources and develop action plans.
- Designing and preparing various timely reports for disseminating financial information to the Management for timely decision making.
- Ensure and evaluate proper recording of financial transactions in accordance with the Standard Operating procedures (SOPs), Company policies, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Provisions of Companies Act, 2017 and relevant laws & regulations to ensure compliance and 100% financial accuracy.
- Oversees the general accounting function, which includes development of internal controls, inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, dealing with the banks, accounts receivable/payable etc. for daily smooth accounting operations
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes and SOPs within each department and suggesting improvements.
- Maintain close coordination and liaison with banks and other financial institutions that help the organization to keep strong working relationship with them.
- Preparation and supervision of monthly and annual accounts and closings of all balances.
- Ensure timely preparation of periodic budgets and comparison with actual disbursement of funds and making critical analysis of major variances if, any.
- Maintains sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations.
- Ensure proper monthly Payroll reconciliation for timely disbursement of salary.
- Prepare various business analysis and decision-making reports for Top Management.
Taxation Management:
- Develop & support Tax strategies and planning in order to ensure tax compliance in all respects.
- Ensuring timely completion of all formalities related to Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding tax including monthly and annual Return/Statements Filings.
- Ensure timely executions of all Income and Sales tax refunds.
- Ensure up to date Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) corporate record including statutory filing of returns to ensure corporate compliance.
- Giving full support to Tax Consultant in order to compliance all notices received from Tax departments.
Audit:
Managing and ensuring annual internal and external audit to ensure in time availability of audited Financial Statements.
Continuous Improvement Process:
- Ensure continuous improvement process by analyzing requirements / improvements required in respective MRP module(s).
- Log all requirements / improvement plans in your respective MRP module(s) on monthly basis for further implementations of suggested improvements with the Continuous Improvement Committee (CIC).
