- Locate vendors of material, equipment and / or supplies and interview them in order to determine product availability.
- Visit factory daily take demands according to actual usage of material, make demands and process them.
- Keep a check on inventory purchased against factory demands, take physical evaluation and maintain report of inventory.
- Analyze market and delivery systems in order to access present and future material availability
- Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies
- Ensure quality maintained purchasing
- Ensure strict compliance with the set processes at the time of purchasing materials / products
- Plan, organize, track and disseminate information related to Raw Material Suppliers
- Work closely with suppliers to optimize supplier process
- Assist with and train team on procurement, warehouse and contract policies and procedures
- Actively participate in internal meetings on procurement including presentations to the senior management
- Perform other related tasks as required
