Position holder will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing, business development and services development programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates;

  • Conducting market analysis, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives
  • Developing and managing business development operating budgets;
  • Planning and overseeing advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail; Coordinate media interest in the Organization and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
  • Managing key accounts in the region; develop and maintain business relationships while ensuring client satisfaction;
  • Working closely with the technology and advisory team to deliver high-end innovative solutions relevant and customized to clients’ requirements;
  • Reacting to all enquiries from potential clients; Responding to tenders.
  • Researching, formulating, and compiling the necessary information required to pitch the business;
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in targeted markets and establish strategic relations with key decision makers;
  • Working closely with clients to ensure policies, procedures, training, and communications are delivered effectively and in a timely manner;
  • Working alongside the directors in most cases to monitor, maintain, and audit the solutions once engaged, to ensure maximum results > ROI;
  • Building excellent relationships and leverage upon same by expanding the business based upon referrals;
  • Liaising very closely with the various internal departments to ensure all client requirements are met and exceeded where possible;
  • Developing and recommending services positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share; Coordinate the appearance of all Organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc. Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist chapters in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities.
  • Monitoring competitor services, sales, marketing and business development activities;
  • Directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and business development programs;
  • Directing market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals;
  • Preparing periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion;
  • Ensure that the Organization regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinate and oversee this activity by Monitoring trends.
  • Responsible for the achievement of marketing/communications/public relations mission goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the Top management.
  • Recommend s, Develop and implement short- and long-term Organization goals and objectives to the Directors.
  • Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications/public relations function.

Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations, not-for-profit management and governance, and the specific business of the Organization and use this information to help the Organization operate with initiative and innovation
