Max Restaurant is looking for an enthusiastic and attentive Order Taker and Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in the food service industry. Confidence and a positive attitude are essential to providing a warm and friendly environment for all customers. While this position does not involve managing a team, the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff is important to maintain seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and courteously to provide a welcoming experience. Accurately take orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Assist customers by answering menu questions and making recommendations. Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while maintaining a neat and professional appearance. Monitor tables throughout the dining experience to fulfill additional customer needs promptly. Handle payments and process transactions securely and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables after service. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with restaurant policies. Collaborate effectively with team members to provide a smooth and enjoyable dining environment. Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a customer-first attitude to enhance satisfaction.
