Our Company is looking for a business analyst who have a good working experience in developing tactical and strategic product, services and/or programs to support the business unit’s goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communication and coordination with business team from manager to CEO level to collect and understand business requirements
- Act as a liaison between offshore business team and local development and QA teams
- Design and development of use cases, high level application and system architecture documents and diagrams, data flow diagrams, etc.
- Ensure that system requirements meet business needs and that the business is able to fully integrate and implement new systems and/or system features
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, task and workflow analysis
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the true underlying needs
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with users to analyze information needs and functional requirements
- Participate in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functional Testing.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 2 - 3 years of experience in business process documentation, design, and analysis; business process workflow preferable (additional experience in lieu of degree would be considered)
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and schedule and meet deadlines
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Proven ability to work with users, offshore business team, and developers to define and document solutions to business requirements
- Proven experience of UML modeling, and the development of use case documents and other UML diagrams
- Proven ability to understand IT projects and concepts as they relate to high-level business objectives and business processes, and the ability to effectively present those concepts to both IT and non-IT audiences
- Ability to draw system and application architecture diagrams
- Skills in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Dynamics preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English
- Proven ability to interact with various levels of an organization
- Excellent facilitation, training and presentation skills
