We are looking for a dynamic semi senior accountant to join our team.
You will be responsible for providing accounting and bookkeeping support to current clients. The successful candidate should have a master’s degree and/or ACCA part qualified, have bookkeeping experience and be looking to work within a fast paced and growing company.
Reporting to the director, working with clients’ team. In your role as a semi senior Accountant you will primarily be providing support for everyday bookkeeping, tax, and other accountancy functions.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Bank and expenses postings by updating information on accounts software and excel
- Accounts preparation up to trial balance
- Bank and expenses postings by updating information on accounts software and excel
- Preparation of a monthly management information, including budgets, cash flow statements and other reports as required control account reconciliations, variance analysis and margin analysis.
- Liaising with clients and dealing with their queries
- Managing client files including preparation of engagement letters and other records
Candidate requirements:
- Strong IT skills - Microsoft Excel, Words, Sage
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence and initiative to solve problems without supervision
- Ambitious and persistent, self-motivated and enjoy working to targets
- Commercial knowledge and ability to identify new opportunities
- UK Based Accountancy practice work experience would be advantageous
- Should be fluent in English
