Job Description

Responsibilities:

Preparing, reviewing and transmitting claims using Billing software, including electronic and paper claims.
Follow up on unpaid claims and rejections.
Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancies in payments if necessary.
Identify and billing to secondary or tertiary insurances.
Works on Follow up of assigned claims with open accounts receivables via Insurance Portal or Insurance Calls.
Retrieve Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from the Payer during follow up for a payment confirmation.
Appealing denied claims.

Requirements:

Must have 1 to 4 Year of AR experience in Medical Billing industry
Bachelor degree or equivalent
Experience of Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Podiatric, Orthopedic, Anesthesia, and Ophthalmology is preferred.
Strong Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook skills
Ability to multitask in fast pace environment
Excellent English Communication Skills.
Excellent knowledge of coding, billing cycle and insurance guidelines
