Responsibilities:
- Checking eligibility and benefit verification
- Preparing, reviewing and transmitting claims using Billing software, including electronic and paper claims.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and rejections.
- Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancies in payments if necessary.
- Identify and billing to secondary or tertiary insurances.
- Appealing denied claims.
Requirements:
- Must have 2+ Year of experience in Medical Billing industry
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Strong Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Ability to multitask in fast pace environment
- Excellent English Communication Skills.
- Excellent knowledge of coding, billing cycle and insurance guidelines
