Mechanical Engineer (R&D)

EngineeringBox (SMC) Pvt Ltd is looking to hire five Mechanical Engineers to join their team. The ideal candidates will have experience in design, research and development, and product manufacturing. They will play an integral role in various research projects, working hands-on with complex mechanical and electrical components. This position requires individuals who are proactive, open-minded, and able to communicate technical ideas clearly while collaborating effectively with both technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble small, complex mechanical and electrical components with precision and attention to detail.
- Follow assembly documentation carefully and carry out verbal and written instructions accurately and consistently.
- Participate actively in technical projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
- Communicate technical ideas and challenges clearly to team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Develop innovative product designs that align with project objectives and contribute to overall success.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in design, manufacturing, or research and development.
- Demonstrated ability to work hands-on with technical tasks, maintaining enthusiasm and an open mindset.
- Proficiency in assembling intricate mechanical and electrical parts with precision.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and technicians.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Experience conducting tests using specialized fixtures and equipment.
- Skills in troubleshooting and reworking electronic or complex mechanical assemblies.
- Manufacturing experience in robotics will be considered an advantage.
