Full Job Description
- Must scrub all claims in que for submission within different systems
- Able to Learn and be comfortable with changes
- Follow up with any outstanding claims
- Must be able to identify and submit denials in a timely fashion based on payers timely filling of claims
- Must be able to work aging reports and resolve accounts accordingly to maintain a clean aging
- Must be able to read all EOB’s denials and request for further claim follow up
- Should be able to contact insurance companies for claims resolution as required.
- Should have knowledge of payment posting and adjustments as needed.
- Able to identify and find resolutions for denials including meeting all payer guidelines on reconsideration, level of appeals and process. Should be able to escalate any payer issue identified.
- Sound knowledge of Medical Billing for offshore doctors.
- knowledge of CPT CODING, Modifiers, and ICD-10
- Used electronic charge capture practices such as billing and account receivables (BAR) system and medical billing clearinghouse accounts to submit codes and invoices on time.
- Should be a Team Player with their team members
- Follow up on past invoices and delinquent accounts to reduce the number of unpaid and outstanding balances.
- Should have relevant experience of at least 2 years.
