Job Description

Administering the organization’s benefits programs (e.g., medical fund, gratuity or retirement plans, wellness programs, insurance policies, etc

  • Researching and analyzing benefits plans, programs, and policies.
  • Making recommendations based on data analyses.
  • Ensuring legal compliance by following company policies, procedures, guidelines, as well as state and federal regulations
  • Developing, planning, and managing benefits claims and related procedures
  • Documenting medical claims actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
  • Resolving medical claims by approving or denying documentation; calculating benefit due; initiating payment or composing denial letter
  • Working with insurance providers
  • Managing the enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Maintaining quality customer services by following customer service practices; responding to customer inquiries
  • Resolving claims in a timely manner and processing it with accounts department
  • Negotiating settlements
