- The role requires ownership of complete accounting function by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
- Should have a sound knowledge of IFRSs and corporate laws applicable in Pakistan.
- Should be well versed in financial modelling, feasibility analysis and financial budgeting techniques.
- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
- Maintain relations with all members of the management team so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
- Personally review and approve all forms filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
- Report financial results to the board of directors.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place to meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies define rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Maintain relations with external and internal auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Manage vendor relationships
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
