Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of personnel in operating room including deployment of technical and nursing staff under their respective area (routine & emergency OTs)
- Ensure adherence to procedure and schedule approved by authorities.
- Responsible for scheduling scrub nurses and other support staff to ensure that surgical procedure are performed efficiently.
- Prepare the necessary surgical equipment and make sure operating room is clean, sterile & maintained.
- Daily Checking of OT table, lights, gas supply system, suction bottle and electric sockets.
- Ensure that the instruments used in procedures are properly stylized.
- May oversee pre and post-operative care of patients.
