RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
1. Maintain discipline in the department by abiding the policies allocated by the institute.
2. Ensure high quality care for both in and out patients of the hospital including teaching of undergraduate / house officer.
3. Assure punctuality in OPDs and daily ward rounds of admitted patients with senior faculty wherever required.
4. Liaison with other departments on day to day basic for patients related matters and also to enhance patient satisfaction which leads to enhanced volume.
5. Adopt and manage proper patient-over system of admitted patients within the department and convey the same to junior doctors.
6. To attend emergencies physically during the duty hours.
7. Assist seniors and perform procedures (if any) as and when required.
8. Attend CME sessions and actively participate in research work & publications.
9. Perform any other academic / administrative or clinical responsibility entrusted upon by the senior faculty / HOD.
10. Handling emergencies In ER.
11. Presentation of cases in ward round.
12. Discussing cases with seniors and following their orders.
13. Resuscitation in Medical ICU.
14. Performing procedures in wards and ICU (Medical / Surgical).
15. Reporting unusual cases and actively participate in ward researches.
16. Presenting case reports, researches and mortality meetings.
17. Completion of e-log book in a given time by CPSP.
18. Choose a synopsis and working on it in a given time.
19. Complete mandatory workshop by CPSP.
20. Ready to Appear in IMM Examination.
