The Electrician will work independently without team management responsibilities, performing technical duties with a focus on precision and compliance with industry standards. The role demands hands-on involvement in the regular inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems to support continuous production and facility operations. The candidate must demonstrate an ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and enhancing overall productivity at Medipak Limited.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate tools and techniques to identify issues accurately and implement timely repairs.
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to carry out installation and maintenance tasks effectively.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all electrical work to minimize risk and maintain a safe work environment.
- Troubleshoot electrical wiring, circuits, and control systems to resolve malfunctions and prevent equipment downtime.
- Install, test, and commission electrical components and systems according to prescribed standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades without disrupting production schedules.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities, including the nature of problems and corrective actions taken, maintaining accurate records for audits and compliance.
- Monitor and maintain electrical tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any deficiencies promptly.
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical technologies and pharmaceutical industry requirements to continuously improve job performance.
