We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Front-end Developer/WordPress Developer to join our team. As a Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web application, which makes your role crucial for the success of our business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Determining the structure and design of web pages.
- Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Ensuring that all external websites are running and functioning.
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Must have knowledge about speed optimization and seo knowledgeCreating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Conducting WordPress training with the client.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
- Writing robust, clean, & well designed website code with programming languages such as HTML, CSS
- Incorporating applications, graphics, audio and video clips into client websites
- Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise
- Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
- Experience working with Bootstrap, Salesforce Lightning, GitHub, web performance and DOM.
- Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
- Experience of implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications.
- Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks i.e., React, Vue.JS, etc.
Requirements
- Proven 4 or more years of work experience as a Front-end developer & WordPress Developer.
- Ideal candidates have a portfolio and significant professional development experience.
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Ability to work in Agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
