· Serve all query channels offered to customers (Retail, Corporate) accurately and efficiently.
· Answer questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems, provide information in a proactive manner with regard to airfares, itineraries and other travel arrangements based to their needs.
· Convey and expose the whole range of company’s products including Leisure, business and Umrah Travel with a view to selling a maximum number of auxiliary products at the highest possible levels of profitability.
· Generate reservations, prepare price quotations including cost of flights, hotels, transfers and other related services.
· Issue travel documents and invoices, calculate refunds and process when applicable.
· Maintain records via provided CRM, prepare daily activity, sales and customer contact reports.
· Ensure to be aware and comply with all relevant airline rules and regulations.
· Ensure that the product delivered is commensurate with client requirements and expectations.
· Implement the Switch/Cross/Up Sell strategies by recommending alternate classes of travel, routes or carriers, in the case of non-availability of seats, and effectively sell space (keeping in mind carriers that have been prioritised by the department) and products to increase revenue using systems made available by the department.
· Generate and update customer contact profiles in to the CRM.
· Maintain records of all revenue accountable documents and ensure all utilised documents are correctly reported in the Back-Office System at the end of the day/shift.
· Keep yourself updated with latest promotions, changes in airline trends, new products and services.
· Ensure that all customer complaints/discrepancies received are logged and objectively investigated, recommendations are made to line manager or corrective action is taken.
· Be flexible to work in multi shift environment. Be disciplined to follow job instructions, company policies and office procedures.
