Mehria Town Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Assistant Architectural Designer with at least three years of experience to support the design team in creating innovative architectural solutions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture or a Diploma in Associate Engineering (Civil or Architecture) and demonstrates proficiency in architectural design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. This role involves collaborating closely with lead architects to develop concept designs, detailed floor plans, and three-dimensional renderings, ensuring that all design outputs meet stringent local building codes and company quality standards. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of architectural principles and construction documentation requirements.
In this role, the Assistant Architectural Designer will contribute significantly to project planning and execution by preparing working drawings, blueprints, and comprehensive construction documents essential for successful project delivery. A strong emphasis is placed on collaboration and coordination within project teams, maintaining effective communication channels to integrate feedback and ensure the accuracy of design documentation. Although this role does not include managing a team, it provides ample opportunity to work alongside experienced architects and multidisciplinary professionals, enhancing technical skills and gaining practical architectural experience within a dynamic company environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead architects in conceptualizing and developing innovative architectural designs and layouts.
- Create detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture software.
- Produce 3D renderings and visual presentations with Adobe Creative Suite to support design proposals and client presentations.
- Prepare and revise construction documents, blueprints, and working drawings ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure all design work complies with local building codes, zoning regulations, and company standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements and resolve design challenges.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to refine architectural plans and documentation.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for seamless information sharing across teams.
- Support project management activities by assisting in the preparation of timelines, material specifications, and cost estimates.
- Stay updated on the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies to contribute to innovative design solutions.
