The ACF-FIELD OFFICER will be responsible for Coordination, Selection of hotspots, conducting ACF activities, maintaining records and reporting, and program-related activities in the field.  

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with District TB Coordinator, Provincial Coordinator, District Field supervisor, District Lab Supervisor, Private Healthcare Facilities, Private Labs, Xpert sites, and other stakeholders for effective implementation of the ACF activities
  • Responsible for the selection of hotspots for the chest camps in the district with the support of local focal DFS and in consultation with the district health department (District Health Officer /District TB Coordinator (DTC) under the guidance of the Provincial Coordinator.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the ACF activities in the field in close coordination with district health authorities and in support of the Provincial Coordinator
  • To organize and conduct the Area Notable meetings and chest camps according to operational guidelines with the support of local DFS
  • He will be responsible to maintain infection prevention / Covid/waste disposal / proper use of PPEs and SOPs during all camps.
  • He will be responsible for the data entry of chest camps both hard and soft.
  • Responsible for maintaining chronological records (programmatic and financial) including activity photographs, minutes of meetings and field monitoring reports, etc. of all the field activities at the district level
  • Responsible for submission of programmatic and financial records to the regional office of all ACF activities on monthly basis in line with the Operational Guidelines
  • Timely submission of his monthly work calendar and ensure to follow the timelines and self-monitoring
  • To meet the assigned targets of TB cases registration and activities, also ensuring the quality of the work
  • To conduct regular visits of Bac positive patients for contact screening registered from Chest camps
  • To ensure proper registration of TB cases with the support of local DFS and update the chest camp record sheet accordingly
  • To understand the crucial importance of 100 percent contact screening for control of the spread of TB and do one hundred percent contact screening of the TB case on regular basis.
  • To support hospital staff in maintaining TB R&R tools and anti-TB drug stock for patients registered from chest camps.
  • To develop a regular follow-up mechanism for the identification of TB suspects, MDR suspects, and registration of new bacteriologically positive cases.
  • Ensure the registration of Rifampin-resistant cases at the PMDT site diagnosed from chest camps.
  • Ensure that the CARM box should be placed in a visible place and freely accessible to the project participants during all chest camps
  • To support and facilitate supervisory visits from the national, provincial, and district levels.
  • Any other task or responsibility as assigned by the Project Manager/ Regional Coordinator.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelors with a minimum of two years experience working in the development sector.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, coordination, and training skills are required.
  • Preference will be given to individuals having work experience in similar position.
