General Position Summary
The Program Officer Active Case Fining (ACF) will assist the Senior Technical Officer ACF in managing technical aspects of the mobile vans equipped with digital X-ray and Xpert machines in accordance with the ACF guidelines. The mobile vans are used in outreach chest camps in order to provide quality screening and diagnostic services to the communities with limited or no access to TB healthcare facilities.
Essential Responsibilities
· Will be responsible to coordinate with implementing partners of assigned locations for the development of monthly mobile movement plan and share with Senior Technical Officer for review and consolidation.
· Review the work plan and ensure that site selection for camps is made according to the guidelines
· To work closely with Senior Technical Officer ACF and mobile van team to ensure that mobile van activities are carried out according to the work plan.
· To ensure the daily movement of mobile vans as per approved monthly movement plan with close coordination with the van staff.
· With the support of Assistant Project Officer, s/he will ensure that all logistics arrangements (TA, FTRs, Hotel Accommodation) are made well in time as logistics policies
· Will be responsible to maintain the issue log of mobile vans to keep the record of day to day issues and update issue long in close coordination with Senior Technical Officer
· Will be responsible to coordinate with operations team to ensure timely insurance of vehicles and all assets installed in mobile vans
· Make periodic field visits to assess the condition of mobile vans and its installed equipment and make recommendations to Senior Technical Officer
· Review the performance of mobile vans in terms of targets vs. achievements and share monthly analysis with Senior Technical Officer
· Ensure that data of camps are maintained both in hard forms and is digitized on the application
· Access and review the digital dashboard to identify hotspots on monthly basis
· Participate in monthly meetings with National TB Control Program and KIT Tropical Institute to review the performance of data digitalization
· On monthly basis ensure timely supply of the consumable items to the mobile van i.e. X-RAY Films, Stationery items, Xpert cartridges and falcon tubes in coordination with operations team
· In consultation with Senior Technical Officer, keep the record of dosimeter supplied to the van staff on quarterly basis and share the reports of previous used dosimeter with the concerned staff.
· Provide support to field team, in submission of their Health insurance claims to HR
· To support the process of vendor’s payments to finance
· Participate in project related meetings/ trainings/ awareness sessions.
· Ensure implementation of Mercy Corps policies and procedures at all levels; and follow Mercy Corps safety and security protocols at all times

Works Directly With: Technical Advisor-ACF, TB Program team, Van staff, operations team, finance team and implementing partners
