Key Responsibilities

1.         Plan, initiate and manage monitoring and evaluation activities as per the organizational rules, policies and procedures

2.         Develop Annual M & E Plan and Frameworks for all programs and projects related to Education& Literacy, Social Capital Development, Health, Sustainable Environment and Livelihoods & Food Security.

3.         Develop key performance indicators to be included in the monitoring system for Projects/Program activities and annual reviews.

4.         Conduct M & E activities as per the approved M & E plan and frameworks for all program/projects of HDF through quarterly visits and desk monitoring.

5.         Assess and report the status of program/project activities and desired results (outputs, outcomes and impacts) quarterly.

6.         Review, adapt, test and modify the existing/available monitoring tools, techniques and methods to suit the specific needs of the Projects/Programs. 

7.         Design and conduct baseline studies for benchmarks and surveys for assessing progress, achievements and satisfaction level of the beneficiaries/stakeholders. 

8.         Carryout situational analysis and feasibility studies for potential projects as per the need.

9.         Provide support to Program Managers in planning, reporting and documenting experiences and lessons learnt.

10.       Keep track of all ongoing/planned program/project activities to ensure consistency with programs/project implementation timelines.

11.       Facilitate annual and periodic implementation reviews and assessment exercises.

12.       Keep up to date of new methods and techniques with regards to M&E systems for ensuring efficiency and fostering and promoting innovation and ready decision making.

13.       Develop and share progress/monitoring/surveys reports every quarter.

14.       Plan, design and conduct Research and Impact Studies in HDF areas as per need/work plan. 

15.      Conduct regular visits to field sites to ensure that M&E and accountability tools and strategies being implemented optimally.

16.       Train regional staff in data collection/surveys/monitoring and evaluation of the programs/projects.

17.       Any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor or senior management.
