· Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Psychologist to preserve the mental health of employees and patients.
· Collaborating with other healthcare providers to evaluate medical and physical condition of patients. Assessing patients’ risk, considering their mental health and social needs when performing interventions.
· Obtain and study medical, psychological, social, and family histories, by interviewing individuals, couples, or families, and by reviewing records.
· Diagnosis or evaluates mental and emotional disorders of individuals and formulating and creating personalized interventions, treatments and management plans and treatment methods such as psychotherapy, behavior modification and stress reduction therapy for patients.
· Provides crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate psychological treatment.
· Documents therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records; implements and adheres to policies which ensure patient confidentiality.
· Must be able detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Must be able to perform duties in a stressful and high paced environment without physical limitations.
· Following & complying with policies & processes & applying them to their own work activities, including using/wearing Personal Protective Equipment as required.
