Proactively implement the HR strategy and provide feedback for necessary modifications and standards.
Lead and guide the necessary activities to communicate and implement the HR strategy in a proper and professional manner.
HR Policies and Procedures
Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures and systems based on the set HR.
Review and propose the required amendments.
Develop and maintain an Equal Employment Opportunity strategy based on merit.
Monitor and control new hires ensuring compliance with the already set and approved annual manpower plan and headcount.
Jointly take hiring decisions with line managers on selection of new employees.
Act as a co-leader and facilitator for driving and implementing the O&HR activities.
Building organizational capability aligned with business strategy.
Play a role of leading organizational change agent and introduce change management strategies to evolve towards targeted organization schemes.
Support and challenge Store Management members to identify internal talents and high potential employees for future growth. Promote and facilitate the career interview exercise to identify employees’ aspirations.
Ensure an effective performance management system is in place as per METRO.
Ensure proper implementation of performance management system and provide the necessary facilitation and support during exercise.
HR Operations & Discipline
Facilitate Comp & Ben team to prepare the payroll on monthly basis.
Carryout all the operations related to employee’s Attendance, leaves, Provident Fund, Promotions, transfers, grievances, Employees record etc. Manage Cafeteria and Lockers Room for employees. Ensuring the discipline in this regard is vital.
Additionally: Sound understanding of floor operations. To carry out any instructions/task given by the line manager and/or seniors.
