We are manufacturing multiple footwear brands including our own licensed health footwear. We are in expansion stage and are seeking a new Head of Accounts to join us.
We are passionate about footwear and manufacturing.
You have to be willing to roll your sleeves up from time to time when it is peak season! If you prefer sitting in an air conditioned room and looking at a screen all day - this isn't the job for you.
Your goals;
- Help us achieve a real-time view of all cost, operating expense and sales by working with the Executive Director and Head of Inventory
- Balance and maintain an accurate set of accounts
You will be working closely with;
- Owner: Over 45 years experience in the industry, well-known and regarded
- Director: International brand experience across Europe, moved to Karachi
- Head of Inventory: 6 years into the role, moved from Saudi Arabia

Role and Responsibilities;
- Prepares and records all financial incoming/outgoing throughout the factory
- Produces sales tax invoices and delivery challans for outgoing goods
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge;
Besides excellent computer skills and familiarity with accounting and spreadsheet software, a manufacturing cost accountant must also have a head for numbers. Needs to know how to design or create data collection systems and then analyze the data for the Director.
This is a full-time role
Salary will be dependent on competence and aptitude
