Position Title: Communication and Reporting Officer (CRO)

Job Purpose The incumbent will directly report to the EOC Coordinator for coordination on important activities and events at EOC and with other stakeholders. The support will be ensured in verbal and written coordination, report writing, essential documentation at the office, and overall coordination and communication with NEOC, provinces, and district on Polio-related planning and implementation.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the planning and documentation of key activities at EOC; this includes supporting in organizing various key public events, documenting proceedings and minutes of the meeting; drafting communication for government departments, etc.
  • Technical documentation of all major events in form of event report writing by collecting data and relevant details from all relevant partners and stakeholders and ensuring necessary distribution of the final product/document.
  • Track all activities and official correspondence between departments by following official protocols.
  • Assist various task teams in planning review meetings as per project indicators
  • Assist EOC in planning various performance and progress reviews by coordinating all districts for required material and attendance; all meetings must be followed by reports/ summary
  • Support in tracking the key program indicator of all units in the polio eradication initiative
  • Any other duty assigns by the Coordinator EOC and Provincial Team Lead UNICEF.
  • The communication and Reporting Officer will work under the guidance and supervision of Communication Team Lead UNICEF.

  Minimum Requirements:  

  • A first University Degree (Bachelors) in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, English, or any relevant areas.
  • 2-3 years of working experience in the development sector/or related field.
  • Familiarity in working with Government Ministries and Departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Urdu).
  • Hands-on with Microsoft Office.
  • Proven experiences in data analysis, report writing, etc.
