Job Description Task to be performed:

  • Monitor all project activities, and progress towards achieving the project output of School Safety Program and COVID 19 response plan;
  • Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success;
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results;
  • Monitor the sustainability of the project's results;
  • Provide feedback to the Programme Manager on project strategies and activities;
  • Suggest strategies to the Programme Manager for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks;
  • Collect data from the field, develop and maintain an updated database on indicators/achievements.
  • Report monthly, quarterly, and six monthly progress on all project activities to the Programme Manager.
  • Provide inputs, information and statistics for the reports on the project.
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project team in preparing relevant reports;
  • Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project;
  • Assist in coordinating across the available components of the Project to ensure effective implementation of M&E;
  • Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use.
  • Perform other duties as required;

  Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge and understanding: Applies specialist and detailed technical expertise; develops job knowledge and expertise (theoretical and practical) through continual professional development; demonstrates an understanding of different organizational departments and functions
  • Planning and Organizing: Ability to set clearly defined objectives; plan activities well in advance and take account of possible changing circumstances; identify and organize resources needed to accomplish tasks; manage time effectively; monitor performance against deadlines and milestone.

  Functional Competencies:

  • Experience in programme management
  • Expertise in research and analysis
  • Experience in quality report writing
  • Experience in database management

  Languages:

  • Fluency in English required. Knowledge of the local working languages (both Urdu & Pushto) of the duty station is essential.

  Official Travel Involved:

  • Travel to districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
