We are looking to recruit and work with an individual who is passionate about footwear design and manufacture. We will work with you from our London Office.
Your main responsibilities will be to become a MINAR representative in Pakistan and help us to establish our Manufacturing and Procurement network.
The way this will work is that you, as a designer and someone who knows about footwear manufacturing, will seek out Artisans and enable them to deliver the designs and product, sit with them during shoe making, observe the techniques and guide them as well as guide us on the facts we don’t know about.
You will have the chance to use your interest and knowledge of design to influence our business model, supply chain and designs.
The role also comprises Operations focused tasks: Seeking out best materials and fabrics, shipping products from Pakistan to UK and receiving samples and designs sent from UK to Pakistan.
This is not an exhaustive list of the things you will be doing but please see the person specification and job description overleaf which should cover most of who will be an ideal candidate.
To carry out your work, you will need to travel, across Pakistan, but mostly within Punjab and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa.
