Responsibilities:
- Design mock ups, site flows, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Participate actively in discussions, presentations and decisions about UI/UX
- Collaborate with the stakeholders; development team and clients to implement state-of-the-art user experiences.
- Act as the impulse by providing clear guidance to the team's questions during implementation phases.
- Perpetually demonstrate expertise UI/UX design both in discussion and practice.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator are mandatory.
- Strong HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and WordPress knowledge and skills required.
- Expert in handling Responsive Designs using Bootstrap ¾ and foundation or similar framworks .
- Solid experience in creating wireframes using popular tools: Invision, Blasmiq, Adobe XD etc.
- Professional web/interactive design expertise.
- Active proponent of web standards, usability, and accessibility.
- Expert in mobile and desktop optimized design practices.
- Strong communication skills needed to provide direction and to establish best practices within the team.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Optimize applications for maximum speed.
- Design mobile-based features.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Proven experience designing/developing WordPress themes.
- Adoptive rich web apps for different devices and screen sizes.
- Web apps framework like angular js, react js and vue js.
- Knowledge of node.js is huge plus.
