Job Description

 

Ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of sales, operations and profitability goals for retail and wholesale segments in the assigned territory

 

Direct Retail Sales (B2C)

  • Identify opportunities for developing network of company-operated / franchised retail stores in assigned territory in line with company's growth and sales targets
  • Oversee and manage all retail operations to ensure that transactions, customer payments and collection activities are properly performed in accordance with company's operating guidelines and all applicable laws
  • Meet company sales targets and business growth objectives at Territory level
  • Obtain and analyze customer feedback through retail to identify opportunities and improvements in product lines
  • Liaise with Regional merchandising team for stock allocations in line with end-market requirements
  • Ensure implementation of all company policies and directives at retail level in assigned region
  • Prepare and analyze periodic business results for management reporting
  • Ensure healthy ROI for Franchisees / valuable business partners 

Indirect Retail Sales & Distribution (B2B)

  • Develop network of retail partners and wholesalers in the assigned territory for the company portfolio in line with the brand directive and market segment
  • Oversee end-market sales operations to ensure that all transactions, customer payments and collection activities are properly performed in accordance with company's operating guidelines and all applicable laws
  • Proactively engage with retailers and wholesalers to analyze and identify retailer problem areas, formulate options, and present solutions offering win-win outcomes
  • Meet company sales targets and business growth objectives at Territory level
  • Develop and maintain cordial relationships with all stakeholders (Trade bodies and unions, law enforcement agencies etc.) in assigned territory
  • Strict adherence to company policy and guidelines for Indirect Sales operations
  • Act as custodian of assigned region for issues beyond scope of Sales & Distribution
  • Conflict resolution and wholesale negotiations
  • Ensure price compliance across entire territory
