• As District Manager, you will be assisting Chief Executive Officer in the following duties / assignments;
  •   Lead on planning and implementation of Project activities at the district level in relation to establishment and management of structures, recruitment of teams of the Tehsil Aawaz Aagahi Centres (AACs), Outreach Teams, Village Forums, Aawaz Youth Volunteers and other key activities within the scope of work of downstream partners. Supervise the delivery process to achieve set targets and outputs.
  •   Act as the point of contact and communication between the downstream partner and the respective provincial focal person in the Aawaz II PMU and liaise with the programme provincial implementing and resource partners for carrying out different activities at the field level.
  •   Put in place the office and team management processes and ensure compliance with Aawaz II operational guidelines and procedures.
  •   Develop community engagement plan in coordination with other members of the district delivery team to initiate dialogues with the community for formation of village forums and identification and setting up of AACs.
  •   Maintain internal and external relationships with formal and informal stakeholders, government departments at the local and district level and establish early rapport and to provide overall orientation of the project.
  •   Coordinate with the provincial partners of Aawaz II and support in establishment of the district forums. Contribute to the process and advocacy agenda of the district forum.
  •   Support the Training Officer in managing the capacity building activities and supervise the process of selection, training, mentoring of youth volunteers and implementation of social action projects.
  •   Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable. Escalate risk and safeguarding related concerns to the relevant focal person at the Aawaz II PMU. Be the safeguarding focal point for the Downstream Partner.
  •   Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information. Ensuring projects activities adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project strand.
  •   Organise and participate in trainings and advocacy events at PMU, provincial, and district level
  •   Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  •   Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly progress reports and other reports as agreed with the hiring organisation.
  •   Comply with the safeguarding standards in planning, implementation and monitoring of activities and being safeguarding focal person, escalate safeguarding issues to the Safeguarding Focal Person, AAWAZ II PMU and cascade safeguarding policy and reporting mechanisms
