Molana Tariq Jameel Foundation is seeking a dedicated Medical Officer with at least one year of experience to join our healthcare team in Dhidowali - Daska. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive clinical care, perform diagnostic evaluations, and manage patient treatment plans effectively. This role requires a strong foundation in clinical assessment, decision-making, and clinical risk management to ensure patient safety and optimal health outcomes. The Medical Officer will also manage a team of professionals, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery of healthcare services within the organization. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills while handling administrative matters related to healthcare provision. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough patient history taking, prescribing medication accurately, and maintaining electronic health records efficiently. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in medicine (MBBS) and a commitment to accountability for both personal and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine patient health status.
- Manage patient care plans including prescribing and monitoring medication to ensure effective treatment.
- Take comprehensive patient histories to inform diagnostic reasoning and treatment decisions.
- Maintain and update electronic health records accurately to comply with clinical standards.
- Manage clinical risks by identifying potential complications and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Lead and supervise a team of three members to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
- Handle external administrative tasks related to healthcare operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate accountability in clinical decision-making and in managing the team’s performance.
- Apply effective negotiation and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and external stakeholders.
- Make prompt and informed decisions to resolve clinical issues and enhance patient safety.
