We are looking for experienced WordPress developers with expertise in WordPress theme creation, customization, and plugin development to join our team. You'll be working remotely from home. This is NOT a junior level role, so, you'd be expected to be an expert on WordPress and adhering to the best practices like unit testing.
Candidates must have expertise in
- Custom WordPress Theme Development
- Custom WordPress Plugin and Widget Development
- Customizing WordPress themes and plugins according to the requirement
- Functional programming paradigms and unit testing
- Optimizing websites for the best performance
- Hands-on grip on PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS etc.
- Candidates having a diverse expertise in different technologies like NodeJS or Typescript will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Only candidates with 4+ years of experience in WordPress development will be considered.
