As a Tech Lead for the Presales Data Science team based in Pakistan, you will be an important member of our Presales Data Science team under the Data Science and Engineering (DSE) org and will
- Support a team of Presales analysts based in Pakistan and grow that team’s size and impact
- Rollup your sleeves and perform analytical tasks and produce data case studies to support the presales motion
- Draft compelling memos, build custom reports, data visualizations, and present your findings to internal and external stakeholders to scale our Presales efforts
We expect you will wear multiple hats in this role: data enthusiast, influencer, effective communicator, product expert, team player, and most importantly, a growth-oriented coach.
You will collaborate closely with GTM teams, customer success managers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers.

What will you do:
As a player (Individual Contributor):
- Utilize Moveworks algorithms, as well as off-the-shelf Business Intelligence tools, to provide insights to prospect customers and internal teams
- Assist the sales team by crafting visualizations and pitch decks that tell the future customers a compelling story about their historic data, as well as highlighting Moveworks’ value proposition
- Work with the product manager and customer success team to identify & prioritize opportunity areas to configure Moveworks skills for existing customers
- Build highly scalable data pipelines and clean datasets around key business metrics
- Focus on improving data quality and anomaly detection to increase trust in data
- Automate the process of analyzing data and visualizing results, both for the sales teams, as well as for core Product teams
As a coach (Tech Lead):
- Help build, scale & lead a successful Presales Data Science team
- Align closely with other regional teams to develop & align standard, share learnings and push each other to achieve bigger impact
- Collaborate with Product Data Science team with product data analysis & data engineering needs
- Contribute to the Data Science and Engineering org with new ideas, recruiting, and best practices
Who are we looking for:
Qualified ACCS- American Chartered Computer Scientist.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Data Scientist
- 3+ years experience of leading data science or analytics teams
- Expertise in programming skills (e.g. Python, R), Jupyter Notebooks, data visualization, data modeling, ETL, and the data warehousing concepts; Experience w/ Apache Airflow is a plus.
- You must be enthusiastic about innovating in a fast-paced data science team
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive with minimal oversight and process; a self-directed and a go-getter
- Effective communicator, you pay attention to the finer details, and you empathize with customers and stakeholder and build meaningful relationships
- Curious and bring genuine excitement to learn new subject areas and are comfortable to be scrappy as and when needed.
