We are currently seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our team as Front-end Web Developer.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AS A WORDPRESS/ECOMMERCE WEBSITE DEVELOPER:
• 2 Years of Front-End Graphics Experience;
• 2 Years minimum of hands-on WordPress experience (website development, maintenance experience styling out themes, building out pages, responsive styling, CSS, page, and mobile performance optimization);
• 2 years’ experience implementing Search Engine Optimization elements
• 2 years’ experience implementing plugins, Google APIs, event tracking codes and microdata markup on webpages
• 1 years Shopify website development and maintenance experience
• 1 years Woocommerce website development and maintenance experience
• Live and breath in WordPress with a firm understanding of template structure and support, including Visual Composer type editors;
• Must be able to build a WordPress template from scratch using HTML5 Blank Template and ACF
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES NEEDED AS A WEB DEVELOPER:
• Expert level skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (with JQuery), PHP, MySQL
• Have a strong understanding of W3C web design / coding standards
• Basic level skills in image manipulation using Adobe Creative Suite
• You can demonstrate an ability to quickly self-learn and problem solve
• Understand clients' requirements and branding in order to deliver what they need;
• Experience with logo identity and UI/UX Design;
• Ability to multitask across several different projects and WordPress sites at any given time;
• Demonstrated ability to think ahead and plan next steps
• Communicate and work directly with the team to get the latest client updates;
• Have high-level attention to detail;
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
YOUR WEB DEVELOPMENT WORK WILL INCLUDE:
• This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
• Experience with a responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred. You will receive a list of requirements and details and you'll have to deliver the website to the customer.
• Building, updating and maintaining responsive websites
• Write compliant code including testing/debugging in multiple browsers & screen sizes
• Convert visual PSD concepts into functional websites, landing pages & HTML emails
• Coding and managing custom MySQL databases and queries
• Configuring & customizing WordPress, WP plug-ins & integrating with other tools
• Create custom shortcodes, widget areas, custom post types within WordPress
• Work with various APIs
