MS Huzaim Kamal Enterprises is seeking a skilled MEP Engineer with a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM), mechanical systems design, and energy efficiency and sustainability to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience working as an MEP engineer in the construction industry and demonstrates expertise in integrating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within building projects to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. This role demands a proactive engineer who can contribute to project planning, design, and execution phases with precision and technical acuity, focusing on delivering energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.
The MEP Engineer will not be responsible for managing a team but will collaborate closely with other engineering and project management professionals to support the development and implementation of systems that meet client requirements and regulatory codes. Responsibilities
- Develop and design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for building construction projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology.
- Ensure that all MEP system designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices related to safety, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
- Analyze mechanical system requirements and integrate them seamlessly into overall building designs to optimize performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to deliver comprehensive project plans and resolve design conflicts.
- Perform site inspections and oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems to confirm compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Apply energy efficiency principles and sustainable design practices when selecting materials and technology for mechanical systems.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and documentation necessary for project approval and construction progression.
- Identify potential issues in design or on-site implementation and develop effective solutions to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Support procurement activities by specifying technical requirements for equipment and materials related to MEP systems.
- Maintain updated knowledge of advances in MEP engineering technology and apply relevant innovations to improve project outcomes.
