We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our e-commerce company. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial transactions and reporting. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and prepare reports, financial statements, and budgets to support decision-making processes.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns, including sales tax, income tax, and any other applicable taxes.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with relevant departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to guide business planning and resource allocation.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and manage working capital to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory tracking and valuation, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation with financial records.
Financial System Management: Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain data integrity.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly desirable.
- MBA
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies, implement process improvements, and mitigate risks.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).
