The channel sales manager is responsible for driving sales within a particular channel and to help maximize revenue opportunities with channel partners.

Duties of the Channel Sales Manager

  • Responsible for participating in the planning and execution of various Technical & Pre-Sales activities,
  • Responsible for technical support to partners (technical training and key project support and guide)
  • Responsible for Technical Demo or POC planning and presentation.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to the Partners/ System Integrator.
  • Develop channel partner/system integration support skills by managing and conducting Post Sales technical training (Certified Training)/workshops regularly.
  • Close collaboration with 2nd Level (TAC) support team to address partner(s) and end customer support requests.   

Skills :

  • Technical skills in Switching, Routing, Wireless LAN, and Network Orchestration/Integration are a must, and additional skills in enterprise network software and server virtualization are added advantages.
  • Certified professional with (any of): CCNP/CCIE [Cisco Systems], ASE/Master ASE [HP Enterprise], Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), HCNP/HCIE [Huawei Enterprise], JNCIP/JNCIE [Juniper Networks].
  • Have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at all levels.
  • Good customer communication and presentation skills, strong document writing and presentation skills, sensitive to new technologies; eager to learn and grow.
  • Ability and experience in network planning and design, complete POC configuration, and demonstration of products and solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communications, coordination, and persuasion skills. 

Education:

Bachelor's degree or above, major in computer, network engineering, communication, etc
