- 2 to 3 years of IT infrastructure the primary role of the candidate is to manage all the backups which included VM environments/databases and data backups using different tools like Veritas / Veeam etc. in Private and Public Cloud. Candidate will be responsible for managing the overall backup alert and monitoring.
- Deep Knowledge on Veeam and Veritas NetBackup
- Good knowledge in Disk based and Tape based backup
- Good knowledge of Installation, Deployment & Configuration of Veeam and Veritas NetBackup.
- Ensure enterprise scalability and performance for storage and backup environments through proactive capacity planning, performance control and configuration adjustment.
- Install, maintain and upgrade data storage and backup hardware and software.
- Analyze and report on system performance.
- Optimize data backup and storage systems.
- Ensure troubleshooting in the event of errors and backup problems, and to resolve and analyze the root causes.
- Maintain documentation of configuration, operation and troubleshooting procedures, and service records for data storage and backup hardware and software.
Tools / Skills:
- Manage and maintain the backup Infrastructure
- Ability to design techniques and methodologies to solve unprecedented problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team, managers and employees at all levels
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to manage Backup and Restore Failures
- Good knowledge in VMware and VSan
- Good knowledge of Veeam/Veritas NetBackup
