MTBC CareCloud is currently seeking a motivated PHP/ CodeIgniter Developer to manage existing websites as well as develop new features and maintain tools and systems. Our ideal candidate is someone with at least 2 years of experience developing websites. This position requires the ability to plan, multi-task, and follow through on projects. Responsibilities include site operations support and the ongoing development and maintenance of web content.
The job responsibilities for a PHP/CodeIgniter developer include:
- Developing and maintaining web applications, websites, and other digital products using PHP and related frameworks such as CodeIgniter and WordPress.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to build and maintain high-quality products.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues related to PHP-based applications and systems.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in PHP and related technologies and recommending updates or improvements as needed.
- Following industry best practices and standards for software development, including version control, testing, and documentation.
- Web Portal Management
Requirements:
- 2 years plus of development experience.
- Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., PHP, CodeIgniter, WordPress).
- Good database schema design skills
- Experience architecting PHP web applications
- WordPress experience is a plus point
