JOB PROFILE:

The CareCloud RFP Writer plays an integral role in revenue development through the completion of RFP, RFI, and other similar questionnaire requests. The RFP Writer will specialize in editing and writing compelling responses, while also contributing to the completion of other projects and requests. In this position, you will be expected to be able to work directly and effectively with the cross-functional teams to write and maintain (keep updated) original and technical product-specific content. Additionally, you will be responsible to customize that content for specific sales situations as needed. Projects will be both new and existing client revenue development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customize and ensure that CareCloud’s responses to RFP’s are positioned to highlight how our solutions and professional services can meet and exceed the client's needs.
  • Editing answer library database and RFP content for consistency of voice, spelling, and general branding and formatting.
  • Leverage writing expertise to work with content owners and cross-functional subject matter experts to ensure accurate, consistent, and compelling content.
  • Assist in the on-going enhancement and maintenance of the content within the answer library found in the platform tool RFPIO.
  • Ensure adherence to the formal RFP production, back-up, and review process within the given client deadline.
  • Handle follow-up work associated with RFPs moving to the next phase: coordinating answers, additional information, etc.
  • Oversee production of final proposals (formatting, technical editing and reproduction).
  • Field ad-hoc questions from sales representatives, solutions consultants, Legal and cross-functional teams daily as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Creative Writing or equivalent is required.
  • 3 - 5 years’ equivalent work experience, preferably in a technology-based company.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Experience with RFP software a plus (RFPIO Tool).
  • Works well with highly structured timelines and deadlines.
  • Ability to perform and deliver multiple projects on time.
  • Deliver results that are clear, accurate, and technically correct and achieve messaging objectives.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Strong listening skills and overall communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to aggregate information to be written in clear, concise formats.
  • Capacity to be responsible, accountable, and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Professionally communicate with all levels of personnel within the organization and with external clients and partners.
